Controller/Office Manager
Stern Recruiting is assisting Apple Chevrolet in finding a Controller / Office Manager to oversee their business office operations. The role requires managing sensitive financial information, ensuring accuracy in payroll and records, and supporting department managers with financial tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the dealership office, ensuring smooth workflows and accurate record-keeping
Manage payroll and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality
Handle accounts payable/receivable, deposits, and reconciliations
Maintain vehicle sales paperwork and deal jackets in compliance with manufacturer and regulatory requirements
Assist with monthly financial summaries and reporting
Support department managers with expense tracking and budgets
Handle licensing, titling, and DMV documentation
Coordinate with external accountants for year-end reporting and tax filings
Provide leadership, training, and support for office staff
Step in to assist with other administrative or operational needs when required
Qualification
Required
Automotive dealership experience required
Background may include office management, bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, AP/AR, and reporting
Proven trustworthiness with confidential financial and employee information
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Positive, 'pitch in' attitude and ability to thrive in a family-style culture
