EDUCATION COORDINATOR INTERN
Florida Memorial University is seeking an Education Coordinator Intern to support the Office of Graduate Programs. This role involves assisting with program coordination, student engagement, data management, and administrative tasks to enhance the efficiency of graduate education services.

Responsibilities
Assist in collecting, organizing, and preparing data required for state reporting to the Department of Education, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and institutional policies
Support the maintenance of accurate records on graduate student enrollment, retention, and program outcomes to fulfill reporting requirements
Assist in coordinating graduate program activities, including student advising support, recruitment efforts, and event planning
Provide administrative assistance, including document preparation, scheduling, and communication with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all submitted reports by reviewing data for consistency and alignment with institutional and state guidelines
Work closely with university departments to gather necessary data, track program effectiveness, and support continuous improvement efforts
Assist in analyzing trends in graduate education data to support strategic decision-making and institutional reporting initiatives
Qualification
Required
Must have prior experience in the field of education
Ability to foster a collaborative academic environment and cross-disciplinary initiative
Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, initiative, resourcefulness, and personal accountability
Ability to handle information of sensitive and confidential nature in the utmost professional manner
Commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, scholarship, service, and professional development
Effective analytical and decision-making skills
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, and time management skills
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse constituents
Attention to detail and adaptability to a changing environment is extremely important as well as dependability
Proficient in MS Office Suite, and LinkedIn Learning
Proficient in using data in assessment and decision making
Moderate physical activity. Requires handling objects of average weight up to fifty (50) pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day
An earned bachelor's degree
The potential for peer reviewed research, scholarly and/or creative accomplishment by representing the University in Reading
The potential to have a positive impact through service that represents the University on campus and within the greater community
Demonstrated potential for success in research and grant work
Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours
Adaptable in learning a new learning management system
An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered
Criminal background check
Preferred
Preferably maintain an active Educator Certification
