Senior Associate Director for Clinical Research
NYU Langone Health is inviting applications for the position of Senior Associate Director for Clinical Research at the Associate Professor or Professor level. The role requires an experienced clinical trialist with expertise in vaccine research, leading clinical studies, and working on NIH and industry-funded research projects related to vaccines and infectious diseases.

Join an existing team of vaccine researchers and clinic/laboratory staff
Work on NIH-, industry-, and internally-funded human research projects relating to vaccines and infectious diseases
Lead clinical studies and play a senior role in the Vaccine Center and its programs
Qualification
Required
M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degrees
strong expertise in vaccine research
experience in clinical research
experience in one or more areas of vaccine research such as preclinical, immunology, virology or microbiology, translational, and/or human behavior relating to vaccine hesitancy
history of work in novel vaccine platforms
history of work in high priority vaccine targets
history of work in microbial immunity
history of work in vaccine immunology
history of participation in NIH-funded, high priority vaccine programs
exceptional record of achievement
Preferred
Candidates that are board-certified in adult Infectious Diseases
