Shift Supervisor, Field Services
Reworld Waste is a leader in sustainable waste solutions, and they are seeking a Shift Supervisor for their Field Services team. The role involves overseeing health and safety during field execution, managing project quality and accuracy, and mentoring new and existing employees to ensure operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the management of the quality, safety, and accuracy of field execution for assigned projects
Effectively lead large and/or complex projects with minimal to no support from a Project Manager. The Site Supervisor will also be responsible for distributing work to other team members and overseeing on-site Foremen who have been tasked as the leader of specific project tasks
Coordinate and manage site requirements such as equipment rentals, material deliveries, subcontractors, additional resources, etc
Provide remote and in-person support to Foreman and other Site Supervisors
This individual may regularly be required to operate CDL Vehicles and/or Heavy Equipment. This individual will also perform manual labor to support project objectives
Identifying and developing leaders within the organization
Maintain a working knowledge of our core field services and acquire the necessary knowledge and training to support the expansion of our professional services
The role involves providing the Project Manager with progress updates and discussing the project schedule in detail. The Site Supervisor must also be able to inform the Project Manager about the planned work
Working directly with Project Managers to maintain the project budget and inform them of potential cost savings
Notify the Project Manager of onsite issues, but it is expected that the Site Supervisor will manage and address the site complications and/or unforeseen issues
Occasionally perform site walks and work with Project Managers to develop means and methods for site work
Support and contribute to in-house safety trainings
Active member of the 24-hour Emergency Response team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in field supervision, construction management, or industrial services
Proven ability to lead and manage large or complex field projects independently, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all phases of execution
Strong leadership and team development skills, including mentoring, training, and identifying future leaders within the workforce
Practical experience operating CDL vehicles and/or heavy equipment, with the ability to perform physical labor in support of project objectives
Effective communication and coordination skills to manage site logistics, update Project Managers on progress, and resolve on-site issues proactively
