They are seeking a Merchandising Intern for the Summer 2026 program, where interns will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on training in either Planning & Allocation or Buying, analyzing sales trends, and contributing to inventory management strategies.

Responsibilities

Analyze sales trends and reports to anticipate consumer buying patterns and product trends
Create and implement allocation strategies for our stores and / or e-commerce sites
Accompany Buyers on local, virtual, or on-site vendor visits
Strategize with Buyers before vendor visits and debrief post-visit
Visit stores to analyze our product mix as well as our competitors
Resolve merchandise issues with our Distribution Centers, Buyers, and Vendors

Required

Current Sophomores & Juniors
Genuine interest in a career in Corporate Retail / Merchandising
Genuine interest in retail, Merchandising Career Path, product, and following trends
Sense of curiosity for an ever-changing retail landscape
Entrepreneurial spirit
Excellent communicators who work well in teams
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including Excel (i.e., pivot tables, charts, v-look up, etc.)
Ability to think critically and creatively to solve problems
Proven leadership abilities and a strong work ethic
Detail oriented
Reliable transportation as TJX is not easily accessible by public transportation
Variable work schedule based on the needs of the business
