Supervisory Acquisition Program Manager

Responsibilities

Directly reports to the Materiel Leader
Oversees the SACCS-Sustainment and SACCS-Replacement programs managing the execution of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) budgets
Coordinates closely with the Lead Command, Air Force Global Strike Command, and SAF/AQ Program Element Monitors for Programming, Planning, Budgeting and Execution processes and documentation
Leads multifunctional program team and supervises all government program managers on the team
Serves as the Division Operating Location Lead coordinating with local organizations and agencies to provide Organize, Train and Equip functions for all SACCS Team members
Eligible for situational telework at management discretion. NOT eligible for remote/full-time telework
Employee performs other related duties as assigned

Required

U.S. CITIZENSHIP
Must hold Secret clearance; required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
NH-1101 eligible and have Advanced PM Certification (BtB or APDP equivalent)
This is a drug testing designated position. Incumbent is subject to random testing
Work may require travel away from the normal duty station on military/commercial aircraft
Knowledge of and experience in implementing policies, best practices, regulations, and laws concerning the acquisition management process and initiatives
Knowledge of the mission, role, function, and organizational structure of the DoD, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interface with, and/or influence the systems acquisition process
Adept at identifying and resolving highly complex technical and organizational problems crossing multiple organizational and functional boundaries
Possess strong ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy
Able to manage a geographically dispersed team and work well with multiple stakeholders and interests

Preferred

Knowledge and experience with NC3 mission, NC3 systems, NC3 operations, and communications systems is highly desired
