Outside Account Executive - Sports

They are seeking an experienced Outside Account Executive in the Milwaukee Market with a focus on sports marketing, responsible for selling sponsorships and developing new business opportunities in conjunction with their exclusive partnerships.

Responsibilities
Represent and sell sponsorships to advertisers in our local & regional area in conjunction with our exclusive broadcast partnership with the Green Bay Packers and the University of Wisconsin Badgers and our sports broadcast stations, 97.3 THE GAME (WRNW FM) in Milwaukee and FOX SPORTS 1070 THE GAME (WTSO AM) in Madison
You will also focus on new business development and sales of our complimentary suite of digital assets including streaming, podcast, OTT and more
Immerse yourself in learning iHeartMedia’s Broadcast + Digital Marketing Products (we are constantly innovating and growing!)
Meet in person with clients in your market
Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining a pipeline of sales prospects in SalesforceFoster and nurture relationships with the existing client base
Identify new opportunities and develop persuasive proposals to meet each client/agency evolving needs
Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and meet/exceed established sales targets
Create effective marketing campaigns in line with the iHeartMedia brand and resources
Deliver compelling sales presentations with confidence
Maintain productive client communication to ensure client satisfaction
Monitor competition to continually prospect new account leads
Negotiate rates and ensures prompt payments
Follow all station procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular reports regarding sales, pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis
Qualification
Required
Experience required in sports sales for a college, professional, or semi-professional team, or a broadcast company, specifically in managing team partnerships or sponsorships
A desire to learn and grow!
Independent, self-motivated, competitive, assertive personality
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
Persuasive communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation
Strong client service relationship-building skills
Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Stress tolerance, especially with tight deadlines and financial pressures
Drive your own vehicle with a valid driver's license and state-mandated auto insurance
Microsoft Office suite and social networking platforms skills
You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for employer sponsorship
Preferred
Digital/Media Sales experience is a plus
Salesforce experience is a plus
