Responsibilities

Assist with the basic analysis and design of civil engineering components under direct supervision of Project Civil Engineer or Project Manager

Perform civil design calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and site designs with frequent and close supervision

Perform drafting and design on projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil engineering design and modeling software

Perform design in accordance with accepted standard of practice and with local codes, ordinances, and regulatory requirements having jurisdiction over the project

Assist with creation and editing of civil and site drawings

Qualification

Civil Engineering DegreeFE ExamEIT CertificationAutoCAD Civil 3DCivil Design CalculationsMS WordExcel

Required

Bachelor of Science or Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering required

3 years of experience in the civil engineering industry required with site design strongly preferred

Must have successfully passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or possess an EIT Certification

Working knowledge skills in MS Word, Excel, and other related software utilized in the civil engineering industry

Working knowledge of Civil 3D and site modeling software
