They are seeking a Resident Project Representative II | Municipal & Water Resources to oversee construction activities, ensuring projects meet quality and compliance standards while serving as the primary on-site representative.

Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Review project schedules, shop drawing submittals, and schedules of values, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements
Meeting Participation: Attend pre-construction and progress meetings, document key discussions, and circulate comprehensive meeting minutes
Liaison Role: Act as the engineer’s liaison with contractors, assisting in contract document interpretation
Construction Observation: Conduct on-site observations of work progress, verifying compliance with plans and specifications
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including diaries/logs, correspondence, shop drawings, and contractor records
Report any unsatisfactory, faulty, or defective work to the project engineer
Testing and Inspections: Assist in testing, inspections, and start-up activities, ensuring proper documentation and execution
Plan Reviews: Review plans for compliance with municipal requirements and prepare improvement guarantee cost estimates
Guarantee Evaluations: Inspect developer-installed improvements and prepare detailed inspection reports completeness
Guarantee Requests: Evaluate improvement guarantee reduction requests
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
4+ years of project experience in construction observation and administration including: Stormwater, Site grading, E&S control, Paving, Bridges, Concrete (Curbs and Sidewalks), Utilities
Knowledge of stormwater systems, site grading, paving, and highway projects
Basic understanding of survey, grade and cut sheets and quantity data
Effective utilization of common business platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting tools, project management systems, etc
Flexibility to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays (Valid US Driver's License is required)
Legal authorization to work in the U.S
Preferred
NECEPT Field Technician certification in Asphalt and/or Concrete, highly desired
NICET certification in Highway Construction Inspection, highly desired
