Asst Professor -Chemical & Biomedical Engineering
The University of Wyoming is seeking an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical & Biomedical Engineering. The successful candidate will develop strong, externally funded research programs and excel in teaching and outreach, focusing on separation, extraction, and processes related to strategic minerals relevant to Wyoming.

Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a related discipline at the time of appointment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred
Postdoctoral training or industrial experience in a related field by the time of hire
Interest and experience in process engineering (extraction and separation) of rare earth elements and critical minerals, focusing on minerals relevant to Wyoming
Experience with scaling up technologies from bench to pilot scale
Demonstrated ability to conduct cutting-edge research
High potential for securing external funding to support research
High potential for effective teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level
Demonstrated commitment to effective collaboration
