They are seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to join their ICE Team, responsible for designing various natural gas transmission and distribution projects and preparing related documentation.
Consulting
Responsibilities
Design various natural gas transmission and distribution projects, including pipeline, meter stations, and other facilities
Prepare design reports and construction plans using client, local, state or other applicable standards
Coordinate preparation of specifications and permit submittals
Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
Document design changes and communications
Conduct on-site observations as needed
Prepare project status and other reports
Assist in the preparation of proposals
Assist Project Managers as needed
Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc
Attend seminars and/or training classes
Maintain excellent client relations
Maintain a safe working environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
0 to 6 years of experience in designing natural gas projects
Self-motivated
Ability to work well with others
Excellent writing skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
Familiarity with MicroStation
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Familiarity with Civil 3D
Familiarity with CADWorks
