NEOGOV is seeking an IT Data & Security Manager to oversee and manage all data systems including the ERP and IT security operations. The role involves supervising technical staff, managing security protocols, and ensuring the integrity of administrative databases and server security.

Responsibilities

Supervises and manages all data systems including the ERP, including technical staff, system software upgrades, in-house programming, and contract programming
Responsible for all IT security and related operations including evaluation, policies, and practices
Includes account creation, role-based account security practices, to account termination
The server security from creation, access levels, backups, encryption, and APIs
Responsible for the management and security of all SCC administrative databases
This includes the college's ERP system down to the departmental databases which are either designed or purchased by the IT Department, all operations, programming, updates, and training
Responsible for third-party database agreements, tracking and reporting them annually
Responsible for creating and managing a cohesive security plan
This includes coordination and oversight of all elements of the security plan from external and internal threats
Responsible for the policies, management, and creation of all accounts; employees, students, guests, and partners
This includes implementing position based security, MFA policies, Cleanup schedules
Responsible for the supervision, management and security of the college’s server farm
Ensures all servers are being updated and backed up so all security protocols are fulfilled
Schedules all maintenance task and software patches including making sure all updates (often 100 a month) are tested, documented, installed, systems rebooted, and users are informed of all changes
Manages and supervises programming staff. including those listed below and any contract programmers with which the college is working
Manages and supervises all programming and report request which includes making sure the customers are informed of the progress on their project, keeping staff on schedule, and ensuring the projects are completed satisfactory

Required

A bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or a related field
Experience in information technology systems or a related area
Relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis

Preferred

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
5 years' experience in supervising information technology teams
Experience managing enterprise data systems and ERP specific applications/workflows
Experience in integrating enterprise systems and Enterprise reporting
