Responsibilities

Developing, maintaining, and implementing procedures and controls for budgeting, accounting, contracts, federal reporting, and other financial services for DHHS
Preparing the annual Cost Allocation Plan
Managing staff and their workload
Reviewing fiscal operations to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and control
Assisting divisions with state and federal fiscal year-end closeouts
Managing awarded federal grants with State funds and tracking budgets
Responding to requests from management and other stakeholders

Required

Experience with process improvement related to financial management or accounting
Experience with data mining for financial reporting
Experience using and interpreting data to formulate and present conclusions and recommendations
Experience reading and interpreting federal and state statutes or rules
