Responsibilities
Lead product development lifecycle for thermal safety switches, from concept to release
Oversee the electrical design and performance testing of controls used in motors, battery packs, and appliances
Collaborate with customers to define and deliver highly customized solutions that meet precise application needs
Manage and mentor engineers across electrical, mechanical, and thermal domains
Drive continuous improvement in design processes, quality, and manufacturability
Interface with global sales, manufacturing, and compliance teams to ensure smooth product rollout
Monitor emerging technologies and regulatory changes to guide innovation and compliance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years of product development experience in thermal, electrical, or motor-related industries
Prior leadership or management experience
Strong background in small electromechanical components or sensor-based safety systems
Comfortable working with customized, high-mix product lines
Exceptional communication and customer-facing skills
