Project Manager - NERC Compliance
Spark Power is a leading independent provider of end-to-end electrical services in North America, and they are seeking a Project Manager - NERC Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory standards for renewable energy projects. The role involves managing compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with various teams to prepare projects for NERC compliance.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the NERC CIP implementation program, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements. Manage day-to-day activities related to NERC CIP Medium Impact integration program
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with NERC CIP, SOX, NIST, and other cybersecurity standards
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective action
Manage project schedules to meet client commitments. Manage work orders and approve invoices
Manage project deliverables from estimating through closeout stages
Monitor and report on compliance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management
Stay current with changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends and adjust compliance programs accordingly
Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters
Review studies, one-line diagrams, models, engineering drawings, protection system documents, and other technical information to determine compliance
Collaborate with Spark Power Development and internal teams (IT, legal, etc) and external consultants to prepare future projects for NERC compliance
Qualification
Required
5 years Project Management Experience
Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and varied deliverables
In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards such as NERC CIP, SOX, NIST, and other relevant frameworks
Great attitude with a desire to exceed customer expectations
Must have excellent conflict resolution, problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to learn and demonstrate technical understanding of power plant systems, design, and operation as they relate to NERC Standards
Experience administering and/or working with compliance/work-flow databases or software (SharePoint or equivalent)
Excellent people skills, organizational and time-management skills, drive for results, attention to detail, and communication skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and/or lead a team
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
