POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE - T. LIU LAB - Immunology and Microbiology
Scripps Research is a nonprofit biomedical institute renowned for its impact on innovation and scientific discovery. The laboratory of Dr. Tiantian Liu is seeking two Postdoctoral Associate researchers to study the biology of Antigen-Presenting Cells and their role in T cell-mediated immunity in various disease contexts.

Responsibilities
Join a well-funded new lab studying the biology of a group of specialized immune cells, called Antigen-Presenting Cells
Study the gene regulatory networks governing Antigen-Presenting Cell development
Develop genetically engineered mouse models to reveal the overlapping and unique functions of each Antigen-Presenting Cell subset
Investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms of Antigen-Presenting Cell in regulating T cell-mediated immunity in the context of infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders, and cancer
Qualification
Required
PhD in immunology, developmental cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, or similar is required
The ideal candidate should have a passion for science and be highly motivated
Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work collaboratively
Outstanding critical thinking
Preferred
Substantial experience with in vivo mouse models and high dimensional flow cytometry is a plus
Experience with analysis of single-cell genomics datasets (scRNA/ATAC-seq) is a plus
