Post-Doctoral Associate in High Energy Physics

They are seeking a Post-Doctoral Associate to lead searches for new physics at CMS and conduct detector studies, collaborating closely with faculty, graduate students, and other postdocs.

Responsibilities
Play a leading role in searches for new physics at CMS using tau leptons
Conduct detector/feasibility studies for future collider initiatives
Work closely with graduate students and other postdocs
Collaborate with members of other CMS groups
Qualification
Required
PhD in experimental particle physics at the time of appointment
Preferred
Deep understanding of the particle detectors, particle identification, data analysis
Machine learning experience is a plus
Expertise in programming (C++ and Python)
