As a Youth Treatment Specialist, you will work alongside a care team to implement treatment plans for boys aged 14-18, providing mentorship and creating a nurturing environment to help them overcome trauma and behavioral health issues.

Implement individual treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of boys ages 14-18 in our program
Mentor residents
Join in recreational activities
Create a warm, loving home for teens
Utilize trauma-informed care techniques
Help residents develop healthy life skills
Teach teens to use their voices for positive outcomes
Build relationships with residents
Qualification
Required
Applicant must be at least 20 years of age
High school diploma required
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to pivot, bend, twist and stoop while bearing weight of individuals served
Ability to lift 50 lbs. non-stationary weight through the approved technique
Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose, and objective of the agency
Preferred
Additional education and/or certification in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
Prior experience supervising at risk youth
