Global HR Business Partner Lead
Pearson is the global leader in computer-based testing, and they are seeking a Global HR Business Partner Lead to support the VUE Managing Director and lead a team of HRBPs. This role will focus on providing strategic and tactical HR support, driving organizational transformation, and enhancing business performance through effective talent management and employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Build trusted relationships with leadership and senior stakeholders in the business, providing HR Strategy in support of business needs
Support Organizational transformation, unblocking the pain points that come with strategic change and supporting change management efforts to enable new ways of working
Partner with HR leads in A&Q, Center of Excellence teams, People Operations, and Legal to operationalize HR interventions in support of business needs
Develop strategic and operational plans to achieve results and ensure alignment with company goals and objectives through training and development initiatives
Analyze data to determine trends, areas for improvement and recommend and/or implement appropriate strategies
Track delivery against the case for change using analytical and data-driven approaches to business and organizational issue analysis
Advocate, implement, and coordinate change initiatives to support enhanced organizational effectiveness within the business
Drive HR plans, including alignment with global HR plans and processes, across the business
Support leadership team with talent, staffing and employee mobility
Provide input into the Talent strategy for the business through developing insight and analysis of people related business issues and opportunities (by leveraging global tools and, e.g. Talent Management tools/ processes and diversity metrics)
Determine the suitability of an applicant for employment. Based on those findings, make recommendations to hiring managers
Support teams with creation and delivery of all HR related communications
Support leaders on employee relations issues, managing complex cases to mitigate risk
Coach and advise managers on organizational issues including conflict resolution, relationship building, and effective communication
Coordinate with legal counsel as needed in regard to employment-related legal matters and policies
Strategize and develop plans for staff retention efforts
Assist with and advise leadership on employment and works council legislation as well as disciplinary action procedures, coaching, counseling, and documentation
Assist managers with performance management
Qualification
Required
15 years' experience as a global HR Business Partner supporting senior executives
Experience supporting an assessment and or retail organization is highly desirable
Experience managing a team of global HR Professionals
Extensive experience in operating model / org design and of partnering with a business undertaking a transformation (both culturally and organizationally), leveraging change management practices to embed changes successfully
Experience supporting dispersed teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong influencing skills, ability to drive change via influence vs. authority
Ability to balance strategic thinking/long term opportunities with execution of operational tasks
