Legal Assistant

LHH is a well-established corporate law firm in Pittsburgh seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Assistant to support its corporate legal team. This hybrid position involves preparing legal documents, managing attorney calendars, and ensuring compliance with corporate legal procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare, edit, and proofread corporate legal documents including contracts, agreements, resolutions, and governance materials
Assist with entity formation, maintenance, and compliance filings
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
Maintain and organize client files, both physical and electronic, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
Handle correspondence with clients, government agencies, and internal departments
Support transactional closings, including preparation of closing binders and signature packets
Track deadlines and ensure timely filings with state and federal agencies

Required

2+ years of experience as a legal assistant in a corporate law setting
Strong understanding of corporate legal procedures and documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently

Preferred

Associate's degree or paralegal certificate
Experience supporting multiple attorneys or working in a fast-paced legal environment
