Responsibilities
Build high-performance, large scale distributed trading networks leveraging automation
Engage with highly motivated clients to help drive commercial outcomes and solve complex problems
Operate in a dynamic working environment with fluid priorities, requires the ability to context switch and adapt to time sensitive issues
Expand beyond your domain. We have broad engineering remits, affording opportunities to explore innovative hardware and software offerings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
CCNA or greater accredited with strong expertise in end-to-end infrastructure delivery, including BGP, multicast routing, switching
Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
Securities/trading domain exposure a plus
Preferred
3+ years supporting mission-critical, latency-sensitive production environments
Colocation connectivity, cross-connect provisioning, carrier diversity, and exchange/venue connectivity models
Experience with production change management practices and knowledge of SDLC
Scripting (bash/python) and configuration management (Ansible, Salt) experience building tooling and drive automation with an IAC mindset
Experience with open source monitoring and metrics collections (Nagios, TICK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
Comfortable operating in Linux based environments
Production operations: incident response, triaging and troubleshooting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred as the team interfaces directly with senior stakeholders, external clients, and internal technology stakeholders
