Principal Strategist
Caylent is a cloud native services company that helps organizations leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) for optimal technology and people integration. They are seeking a Principal Strategist to drive customer program success by defining business value, enhancing customer roadmaps, and guiding clients in their AWS journey to achieve sustainable growth.

Responsibilities
Develop clear, actionable plans from ambiguous customer business problems
Collaborate with customers to define desired outcomes, identify gaps in their current business and technology capabilities, and propose solutions
Construct a business value narrative that fosters alignment across the customer's organization
Guide customers to enhance their adaptability, resilience, and relevance in dynamic business environments
Facilitate key stakeholders in defining direction, achieving alignment, and making informed decisions
Translate complex technical details into clear business impacts to empower effective decision-making
Uncover new opportunities within customers, driving the growth of our Strategic Accounts following an Assessment or Roadmapping engagement
Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Solutions Architects to develop these opportunities
Qualification
Required
10+ years of consulting experience in cloud and digital transformation or leadership experience in technology transformation
Experience leading large scale cloud transformation efforts within Financial Services Institutions (Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Banking, FinTech and or Insurance)
Proven ability to build key client relationships and secure repeat business
Experience delivering large, complex projects for enterprise clients
Expertise in public cloud infrastructure and services, preferably AWS
Proven experience in business transformation domains, such as: Productization & Service Design, Cloud & Application Modernization, Agentic & Intelligent Solution Design, Data Platform & Governance Strategy, Cloud Operating Model Design, AI Enablement Strategy
Strong understanding of Agile project delivery
Excellent communication skills, especially with executive audiences
Startup environment adaptability and cross-functional teamwork
Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies
Willingness to travel for project kick offs and key client milestones
Preferred
Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, Agile, or HashiCorp
Knowledge of Security Best Practices, Cloud Economics, Serverless technologies, container-based architecture, Software development frameworks, and cloud cost optimization
Experience in AWS consulting with Fortune 2000 clients
