Responsibilities

Manage and execute outbound sales prospecting efforts to potential GP clients
Maintain all aspects of outbound sales prospecting activities in GP’s CRM system, including but not limited to:
Client contact information
Pertinent notes
Activities including – phone calls, meetings, and client touch points
Managing and keeping up to date all active opportunities in the system
Able to meet stated customer call and contact objectives on a daily, and weekly basis
Supports the collaboration between GP Strategies management team members and prospective customers/clients
Collects, analyzes, and reports statistical data for all outbound call activities / campaigns on a weekly basis
Able to proactively reach out for required support and provides suggestions to GP management for continuous improvement
Able to effectively articulate the value of GP Strategies for areas of focus (e.g. – specific customer, market segment, etc.)

Required

Established and demonstrated work history of outbound selling in prior inside sales position(s)
Strong communication skills
Effective time management and organization skills
Responsible for attaining sales goals
Produce an agreed upon number of high-quality leads in support of the sales objectives
Ability to effectively speak to and manage conversations with executives at prospective client organizations
Ability to work independently with little supervision with all levels of the organization
Ability to meet stringent deadlines
Ability to meet outbound call objectives (e.g. – meet / beat the required number of weekly customer contact goals)
Ability to articulate the value GP Strategies brings to the identified market segment(s)
Demonstrated experience with Customer Relationship Software (CRM) (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, ClickDimensions and Inside View)
Able to effectively communicate weekly progress to GP management team
Consultative/solution selling sales background and experience
Able to work remotely from home or within an assigned GP Strategies office location as required

Preferred

3+ years of experience in inside sales positions
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Ability to display creative thinking with the ability to develop ideas into executable plans
Highly skilled in written and verbal communications
Possesses a high level of interpersonal/teamwork skills
High level of analytical ability to provide input and establish measures
Demonstrates cultural sensitivity across global boundaries as appropriate
Possesses strong organizational and project management skills to work with multiple contributors at various levels
Understands B2B selling
Knowledge and experience with dbases (FileMaker Pro)
