Responsibilities
Develop and maintain database systems
Manage database systems, system design and analysis, operating systems software, and internal and data manipulation languages
Support application developers in planning preparation, load analysis, and backup and recovery of data
Plan and budget for data resources. Reallocate resources to maximize benefits
Prepare and deliver presentations on Database Management System (DBMS) concepts
Monitor performance and evaluate areas to improve efficiency
10% travel required
Qualification
Required
Five (5) years of relevant experience
Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
Experience in the development and maintenance of database systems
Experience with management of database systems, system design and analysis, operating systems software, and internal and data manipulation languages
Preferred
BS Degree in Information Management
