Accounts Payables Analyst II (Long Term Temporary)
1199SEIU Benefit and Pension Funds is seeking an Accounts Payables Analyst II to manage the accounts payable process. The role involves reviewing invoices, processing payments, and ensuring the accuracy of financial documents while communicating with vendors and employees.

Responsibilities
Review and verify all incoming invoices or purchase orders are approved and correctly coded before processing
Compare invoice batch files against incoming invoice to ensure accuracy
Review and process all employee travel and reimbursement requests
Communicate with vendors and employees regarding payment inquiries
Create check batch file prior to processing payments
Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial documents in the department
Issue stop payments request to bank as deemed necessary
Generate SSD spend reports for the Director of Finance and Division of TEF
Reconcile Accounts Payable vendor account as requested
Perform additional duties and projects as an assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
Minimum two (2) years job related experience in Accounting required
Proficient in the use of spreadsheets, accounting/financial application software
Working knowledge of procurement software - Oracle software a plus
Working knowledge of Accounting concept, practices and procedures
Working knowledge of accounts payable process
Knowledge of accounts payable documentation
Ability to work with speed and accuracy
Knowledge of NetSuite a plus
