Qualification
Required
Attend all scheduled committee meetings (typically once a month or more)
Be on time and stay for the full meeting
Notify the chair if you are unable to attend
Help plan, support, and evaluate programs related to nutrition, physical activity, mental health, and overall school wellness
Serve as a role model and advocate for healthy behaviors on campus
Review agendas and materials in advance
Stay updated on school wellness policies, state guidelines, and community resources
Provide input based on the group you represent (staff, students, parents, or community)
Share updates and encourage engagement from your group in wellness activities
Support a culture of respect, inclusivity, and continuous improvement
Work toward consensus and ensure programs are equitable for all students and staff
Attend all scheduled committee meetings (typically once a month)
Participate in campus safety walk-throughs and drills when appropriate
Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Comprehensive School Safety Plan
Help identify potential hazards and recommend solutions to improve safety
Monitor and provide feedback on emergency drills and protocols
Arrive to meetings on time and sign in
Actively participate in meetings as reported back by the committee head
Attend at least 98% of meetings as determined by the sign-in sheets
