1+ years expH Mart is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support daily financial operations and ensure accurate reporting. The role involves managing and documenting financial transactions related to revenue, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.

Responsibilities
Monitoring daily store revenue transactions with internal system and interfacing the data from internal system to accounting system (SAP)
Managing, monitoring and reconciling daily bulk sales and AR balances with Quick book and SAP
Managing commission sales
Monitoring intercompany AR/AP transactions
Reconciling bank and credit card transactions
Identify and resolving revenue discrepancies by coordinating with store and accounting/finance team
Performing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly closing for stores, distribution center and whole sales
Preparing and managing general journal entry related revenue transactions
Supporting for annual audit field work
Handling all gift certificate related tasks including ordering, distributing and reporting
Qualification
Required
Must be eligible to work in the US
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business related field – Finance, Economics, or Statistics preferred. (Candidate's equivalent experience and accounting principle knowledge may be considered instead of the degree requirement.)
1-2 years' experience in an applicable field is preferred, but not required. H Mart has an extensive training program and candidates with the equivalent office experience will be considered
General understanding of accounting processes and functions
Excellent communication skill and ability to work in a cross functional team environment
Collaborating with team members to facilitate group work
Working knowledge of Excel and Word
Experience with computerized accounting systems (SAP experience a plus)
