The University of Florida is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in Professor Tina Izard’s cell adhesion laboratory. The role involves working on cutting-edge research projects related to protein biochemistry, structural and molecular biology, with a focus on cryogenic electron microscopy.

Work in a cutting-edge research environment with new state-of-the-art facilities
Conduct structure-function studies of cytoskeletal proteins and novel Mycobacterium tuberculosis targets
Utilize facilities for cell biology, molecular biology, protein expression, purification, and biochemistry
Qualification
Required
Applicants with a recently awarded Ph.D. degree in a relevant scientific discipline
Preferred
Experience in cryogenic electron microscopy (cryoEM)
Any structural biologist is highly encouraged to apply
