College of Optometry Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor (Non-Tenure Track)
The University of Missouri-Saint Louis is seeking a caring and compassionate optometry educator to join their College of Optometry. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and enhancement of optometric education, provide instruction and clinical services, and support the mission and strategic priorities of the college.

Contribute to the development, evaluation, and enhancement of optometric education
Provide instruction and service in the professional program
Maintain a clinical practice for UMSL Eye Care and affiliated clinic partners
Serve as a mentor for student research
Qualification
Required
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree, eligible for or active license to practice optometry in Missouri
Experience with, or demonstrated potential to develop, innovative instructional strategies and technology
Expertise in an area of emphasis and contemporary issues in optometry and healthcare
Demonstrated experience in the effective dissemination of evidence-based practice and translating research into clinical care and education
Experience teaching, providing clinical services to, and collaborating with students, patients, and colleagues
Preferred
License to practice optometry in Illinois
Completed an ACOE-accredited residency
