Adjunct Instructor of Electrical Engineering
Simpson University is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to join the Electrical Engineering department for the upcoming academic year. Responsibilities
Teach assigned courses, including class preparation, instruction, grading, and office hours
Plan, conduct, and assess laboratory components associated with assigned courses
Supervise and evaluate student assignments and projects
Provide additional academic support to students as needed
Foster a classroom environment that supports inclusivity, engagement, and growth
Track and report changes in class schedules or instructional delivery
Continuously review and improve teaching materials and methodologies
Participate in ongoing professional development and assessment activities
Comply with all university policies, procedures, and expectations
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Chair or College Dean
Qualification
Required
A master's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline is required
Demonstrated ability to teach in a project-based learning environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with students and faculty from multiple disciplines
Personal relationship with Jesus, a vibrant Christian faith, and a commitment to Christian community; capable of sharing faith and engaging in conversations about Christ
Demonstrate Simpson University Values in the performance of all duties

Maintain the confidentiality of information, data and records

Support the overflow needs of other departments within the respective university area
Perform other duties in accordance with this position as deemed necessary by the immediate supervisor
