Project Manager

CEIS | Government is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary projects in support of engineering, construction, and technical operations. This role involves planning, organizing, and managing all project activities while providing leadership to project teams and ensuring successful execution of project deliverables.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and direct all activities for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and performance objectives
Monitor progress, identify deviations from project plans, and implement corrective actions to maintain project control
Provide project personnel administration, including approval of project assignments and key staffing positions
Approve project budgets and schedules; participate in division-level policy planning and development
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams and group leaders to ensure successful execution of project deliverables
Coordinate activities across functional areas such as engineering, procurement, project controls, and construction
Support the implementation and use of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and related performance measurement tools
Prepare and deliver detailed, accurate project status reports; lead cost estimating, cost analysis, and risk mitigation planning
Resolve complex issues using professional judgment and creative problem-solving; develop new theories, methods, or approaches as needed
Act as Control Account Manager (CAM) when required, with full responsibility for scope, schedule, and budget integration
Operate with significant autonomy and latitude in defining project objectives, methodologies, and deliverables

Required

Bachelors degree in engineering, scientific discipline, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in project management, engineering, construction, procurement, or project controls
Advanced knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance measurement techniques
Experience with EVMS tools and processes
Demonstrated ability to lead technical project teams and manage complex, cross-functional project scopes
Proficiency in interpreting and applying project management best practices in line with organizational and client-specific standards
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
