Hematologist/BMT and Cellular Therapy
The University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a physician scientist or academic physician in Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy. The role involves direct patient care, developing a research or teaching program, and enhancing diversity in clinical trial participation.
Responsibilities
Direct patient care
Protected time to develop a research or teaching program
Teaching learners
Enhancing/supporting efforts regarding diversity in clinical trial participants
Qualification
Required
MD, DO or equivalent
Completion of an accredited fellowship training program in hematology and/or medical oncology
Must be eligible for Wisconsin medical license
Experience in clinical, translational or basic science research, with a track record of successful publications in peer reviewed journals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
Evidence of excellence in teaching
Current or high potential to obtain extramural funding
