Responsibilities

Provide substantive review of analytic content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and suitability for publication

Verify facts, data, figures, and citations against original sources to ensure correctness and consistency

Identify errors, factual inconsistencies, and contradictions in written products

Edit content for adherence to analytic tradecraft standards (ICD 200-series)

Ensure illustrations, charts, tables, and photographs align with and support written text

Edit for clear and cogent presentation tailored to the intended media and audience

Provide editorial guidance to analysts to improve the clarity and impact of their products

Active TS/SCI clearance

Demonstrated experience editing analytic content for clarity, accuracy, and suitability for publication

Strong knowledge of IC analytic standards (ICD 200-series)

Proven ability to identify factual errors, inconsistencies, and citation issues

Excellent communication and editorial skills, with a sharp eye for detail

Ability to work collaboratively with analysts, subject matter experts, and leadership

Education & Experience (must meet one of the following based on level): Senior Level: Master's degree + 12 years relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree + 17 years relevant experience. Mid Level: Bachelor's degree + 8 years relevant experience. Junior Level: Bachelor's degree + 3 years relevant experience OR 7 years of relevant experience without a degree
