Responsibilities
Regularly develop, prepare, and implement high-quality robotics sessions
Mentor students through the FLL program
Be the primary contact for FLL
Arrange and schedule participation in at least two official FLL tournaments in the Fall
Arrange at least one intramural Poly tournament in the Spring
Actively engage students in positive activities
Build significant relationships with all constituents
Model kindness and empathy
Communicate information appropriately and in a timely manner
Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
Follow directions and reason logically
Use a proactive approach when problem solving, taking appropriate initiative
Engage robustly in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion to promote a healthy learning environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Passion for working with middle-school aged (grades 6-8) students
Outstanding communication skills
Demonstrated ability for computational thinking concepts and programming
Preferred
FLL experience is highly valued
