InternUCP of Central Florida is a non-profit agency dedicated to empowering children with and without disabilities. They are seeking an Intern - Social Worker to assist with various responsibilities including parent engagement activities, referrals for services, and community awareness programs.

Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of Parent Engagement/Training activities
Assist in following up for referrals for services and collecting required paperwork (including follow up calls)
Assist with scheduling classroom tours
Assist in identifying and providing information and referral for families in need of services
Participate in Child Study Team and Threat Assessment Meetings – assist with any needed follow up
Assist with community awareness/education programs
Attend weekly required field seminar at University
Participate in one hour (minimum supervision)
Qualification
Required
Junior or beyond in a Bachelor of Social Work university program
This is a BSW Internship with a required total 420 hours per semester (28 hours per week)
