This role is responsible for providing the highest level of client experience through personalized banking solutions, building new client relationships, and maintaining existing ones in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure execution of the Oakworth Model
Execution of the business development approach
Build book of business
Provide extraordinary client experience
Community Involvement
Strengthen existing client relationships as well as maintain excellent business development skills to identify potential clients that fit the Oakworth relationship model
Analyze client financial statements in order to provide and implement financial recommendations
Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance the client experience
High level of focus on the generation of new relationships and business to assist in meeting team goals:
Attend Business Development team meetings prepared to contribute
Collaborate with Commercial Banking and Wealth Management teams
Conduct business development calls on prospective and current clients to assist in meeting established team goals
High focus on client service:
Relationship management for existing clients, including ongoing and regular client contact and communication with meaningful substance
Providing a high level of responsiveness returning calls and emails regarding client inquiries

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required
Excellent Communication Skills – verbal, written, listening
Team focused (collaborative, works well with others, supports team goals)
Holistic approach to advising clients & providing solutions
Drive to source, win, expand relationships
Knowledgeable/Credible within their field (through experience, education, credentials in applicable area)
Organizational skills
Ability to utilize technology resources

Preferred

5+ years of lending experience is preferred
Previous credit background with sound lending practices highly preferred
Proficiency in Horizon or a similar Core Banking system and Microsoft Dynamics or a similar Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform is preferred
