Material Handler Operator Warehouse
Unarco Material Handling is a company focused on warehouse operations, and they are seeking a Material Handling Operator (Forklift Driver). The role involves the safe transportation of materials within the warehouse, maintaining an organized work environment, and assisting with general material handling duties as needed.

Responsibilities
Safely transport materials to and from work centers using forklifts or other designated equipment, ensuring materials are properly handled and staged
Receive work assignments and instructions from the area Supervisor or Lead and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Operate all assigned equipment in strict compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards, avoiding injury to personnel or damage to materials, equipment, and property
Assist in material handling and warehouse support functions when required to meet department needs or fill in for absent team members
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Supervisor
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, including sweeping work areas, removing debris, and cleaning equipment
Regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds using safe lifting practices
Work scheduled shifts and be available for overtime and weekend work as business needs dictate
Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational goals
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Relevant experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar environment preferred
Minimum of 3 years' experience with sit-down forklift
Ability to learn and perform multiple roles within the warehouse department
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with coworkers and leadership
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and meet dynamic operational demands
Dependability and a strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and quality
Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds individually and with assistance
Regular physical activities include standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
Required to use hands and arms for handling and operating equipment, tools, and materials
Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Relevant experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar environment preferred
