Analyst
BCS Allegient provides technically oriented services supporting government and prime system integrators with engineering and management expertise. They are seeking a Senior Research Analyst to oversee funded research related to human health, safety in extreme environments, and advanced tools for underwater operations.

Responsibilities
Coordinate program efforts and organize information associated with product development
Prepare and draft analyses, presentations, speeches, and reports relative to project and program management goals, objectives, and results
Assist in reviewing program status reports and assess progress
Develop documentation necessary to support the acquisition, funding, monitoring and close-out of contracts and grants
Schedule and attend program preliminary and critical design reviews, program technical and financial reviews, and key demonstrations or tests
Identify and review emerging requirements and opportunities for transition in areas related to program objectives for selected technology programs
Assist and support program and financial reviews, Governmental and Industry events, and sponsored or non-sponsored key demonstrations or tests
Facilitate dialogue and interface with key decision makers and their staffs (e.g., Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV), and Joint Staffs, Warfare Centers, System Commands, Program Executive Offices), Navy, Marine Corps and Joint technology needs, development, and acquisition working groups, and among various technical subject matter experts
Collect, report, and archive regulations, policy, guidance, legislations, laws, and Congressional language related to supported programs and systems
Qualification
Required
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Life Science (e.g., chemistry, biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, biomedicine), or related science is preferred
Experience attending scientific and engineering (S&E) meetings
Experience in the one or more of the following research areas: Physiology, human health and safety, human performance, and advanced tools and technology in underwater operations
A Secret Clearance or an interim Secret Clearance before on-boarding
Experience in assisting with coordinating research collaborations with academia, federal government agencies, industry, or international organizations
Demonstrate knowledge of the science and engineering research conducted by the DoD is DESIRED
