Sr. Research Analyst - Neuroscience and AI
BCS Allegient provides technically oriented services from program management to advanced systems integration and engineering. They are currently in search of a Sr. Research Analyst – Neuroscience and AI to support one of their government clients in Arlington, VA, focusing on developing program plans, strategies, and monitoring project progress.

Responsibilities
Assist in developing program plans, strategies, metrics to assess performance and identify needed improvements, budgets, and coordination with other ONR and DoW (formerly DoD) organizations
Collect, report, and archive regulations, policy, guidance, legislations, laws, and Congressional language related to supported programs and systems
Develop capability and technology road maps
Assist Program Officers with processing new proposal documents
Understand research portfolio and provide recommendations for follow-on awards, changes in the effort, and transitioning to different budget activities and portfolios
Assist in monitoring performers’ progress by tracking deliverables due on all efforts, following-up with performers to collect deliverables, reviewing and providing feedback to Program Officer
Develop documentation necessary to support the acquisition, funding, monitoring and close-out of contracts and grants
Track, coordinate, oversee, and develop/revise content in response to data calls and tasks from senior Navy leadership, DoW (formerly DoD), other government agencies, and Congress
Oversee various aspects of meeting/workshop planning and logistics, including development of meeting agenda, overall organization of meeting requirements, meeting content/material, and providing on-site or virtual meeting support to include note taking, and drafting summary highlights and meeting minutes
Prepare and draft analyses, presentations, speeches, website content and reports relative to project and program management goals, objectives and results
Present and participate at Code 34 Government approved research and programmatic briefings at various technical exchange meetings
Attend informational and training events that impact SETA support role. This includes internal Code 34 meetings and training sessions, team development events, ONR policy and guidance trainings (i.e., Quarterly S&T Sync, brown bags)
Qualification
Required
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Psychological Sciences (Neuroscience, Cognitive Science), Engineering field with Electronics, Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence or related science
PhD plus 3 years of relevant work experience OR Master's Degree plus 5 years of relevant work experience
Demonstrated ability to read technical material and synthesize important information and/or briefly summarize the material
Demonstrated familiarity with artificial intelligence or robotics and control systems
