Responsibilities

Scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating complex interventional cardiology cases
Effectively communicate with physicians and other staff about changes in the patient’s condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and symptomatology
May participate in performance improvement and CQI activities within the department
Case types include all complex coronary (PCI, CTO, Brachy), structural heart (TAVR, TMVR, Mitraclip, Tricuspid clip, LAAO, ASD/PFO/VSD, etc.), heart failure/transplant (Biopsies, RHC, Impella, Tandem, ECMO, IABP) and adult-congenital procedures

Required

Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) program AND registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS)
OR Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program AND Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
