Western Nevada College is seeking a Work Study Student Employee to join their Advancement Team. This role focuses on gaining experience in marketing, communication, and event coordination while providing a welcoming presence on campus and supporting outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

Support the distribution of marketing and recruitment materials

Serve as a knowledgeable resource at the information desk

Assist students and visitors with accessing online tools and resources

Provide event support for on-campus events hosted by the Advancement team

Contribute to a positive and professional public image of the college

Work study funds awarded based on eligibility determined by the FAFSA

Enrollment in at least 6 credits each regular semester

Be in a degree seeking program

Meet all Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements: 67% completion rate in the last enrolled semester, 67% cumulative completion rate, 2.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale

Have not exceeded the maximum number of credits allowed (90) or received two degrees

Be authorized to work in the United States
