Chapter & Member Services Support Specialist
The Tau Beta Pi Association, Inc. is America’s oldest engineering honor society, dedicated to supporting engineering students and professionals. As a Chapter & Member Services Support Specialist, you will enhance the operational success of collegiate chapters, providing support and guidance to chapter leaders and fostering community engagement among members.
Responsibilities
Support & Guide Chapter Leaders – Serve as the primary point of contact for chapter officers, answering questions, tracking required reports, and ensuring they have what they need to succeed
Keep Operations Running Smoothly – Manage chapter- and member-related documentation, track deadlines, process supply orders, and assist in organizing our annual convention and other events
Build Relationships – Work closely with members, chapter leaders, volunteers, and HQ staff to foster engagement and collaboration
Problem-Solve & Organize – Help chapters navigate policies, access key resources, and ensure smooth communication between headquarters and student leadership teams
Support the Annual Convention, District Conferences, and Professional Development Sessions, including planning, logistics, and overall program management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
At least 2 years in customer service or administrative support, preferably within a non-profit or educational setting
Strong skills in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM or member management systems
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of nurturing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Preferred
Prior experience with conference and convention planning
