Research Fellow, Pediatrics CEIID Research
The University of Texas Medical Branch is seeking a Research Fellow to support research activities within the Pediatric CEIID Research Division, focusing on Alzheimer's disease. The role involves assisting in laboratory procedures, data analysis, manuscript submission, and laboratory maintenance.
Responsibilities
Assisting in simple laboratory procedures for the Pedi CEIID Research Division
Routine lab performance: cell culture, virus purification, virus infection, western blot, northern blot, real-time PCR
Sequencing data analysis and bridge the communication between service providers and PI
Assist PI to submit manuscript and grant preparation
Providing basic experimental prep work
Providing laboratory maintenance
Aiding in clerical duties associated with the Pedi CEIID Research Division
Qualification
Required
Masters of Science Degree in related field
