Responsibilities

Help establish and manage GS ACM relationships with external managers, with a particular focus on West Coast Growth and Venture, including new product development and coordination of external sales professionals, as well as source and originate new alternative investment offerings to meet client demand and address current market opportunities
Serve as an alternative investment strategist, helping establish GS Wealth house view on current private market trends / opportunities and providing insight to clients and internal GS constituents, and serve as a key resource for San Francisco advisors and clients
Work with external third party managers to source co-investment deal flow for GS PWM with particular focus on SF-based family office syndication
Help provide input on ACM sales strategy across client segments, advising on growth strategies for new offerings / solutions, and develop region-specific fundraising strategies
Serve as key point of contact for SF-based family office clients, particularly as it relates to ACM direct company investment offerings
Lead client portfolio reviews, including alternative portfolio analysis / implementation guidance, as well as provide performance attribution and fund commentary

Required

Bachelors Degree or Higher
Deep understanding of financial markets and investment instruments
4+ year's experience in venture capital, growth equity, wealth management, asset management, investment banking, or private equity
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
Team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Sophisticated and tactful client manager who can effectively manage the entire investor lifecycle
Strong ability to multi-task, with an ability to manage multiple projects with different deadlines
Self-starter, with ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment and across group functions
Solid work ethic, motivation level, and strong attention to detail
SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 (must be obtained within 3 months)
