Remote Insurance Agent

The Forehand Agency is seeking a remote Insurance Agent to sell life and health insurance while cultivating client relationships and providing consultative guidance. Responsibilities

Sell life and health insurance products using consultative sales techniques within an assigned territory
Identify and develop new business through prospecting, timely lead follow-up, and referral generation
Perform comprehensive needs assessments and recommend coverage solutions aligned with client objectives
Prepare and present clear proposals that outline policy features, benefits, limitations, and costs
Maintain long-term client relationships through regular follow-up, policy reviews, and ongoing service activities
Keep accurate CRM records and ensure timely submission of required paperwork and documentation
Stay current on product knowledge, regulatory requirements, and underwriting guidelines
Meet or exceed individual sales targets and participate in incentive programs as applicable

Required

Current state life and health insurance license, or willingness and ability to obtain and maintain required licensure
Proven sales or client-service experience; prior insurance experience preferred but not required
Strong verbal and written communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple accounts
Analytical ability to interpret coverage details and underwriting requirements and explain them clearly to clients
Proficiency with basic PC applications and willingness to learn CRM and other agency software
Professional demeanor and commitment to delivering a high standard of client service
