Responsibilities
Lead ADS Innovation: Develop systems and applications that bring advanced driver-assistance and automated driving features to life in upcoming vehicle platforms
Define the Future: Build business cases and translate customer insights into system requirements using data-driven analysis
Engineer with Impact: Develop and publish system, functional, and software/hardware requirements that guide ADS integration from concept to production
Collaborate Across Boundaries: Partner with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, production-ready ADS technologies
Hands-On Development: Design and implement software in Python and C++ on Linux platforms, ensuring robust performance and seamless integration
Validate and Verify: Lead functional testing in simulation, closed-track, and public-road environments to ensure world-class reliability
Drive Innovation Forward: Propose new features and technologies by analyzing market, technology, and social trends to shape the roadmap for future ADS
Own the Process: Manage project schedules, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment, ensuring transparency through data-driven storytelling
Measure What Matters: Track KPIs, assess performance, and recommend improvements that advance safety and user experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
5+ years' experience developing functional and system requirements for vehicle software applications
Strong programming skills in Python and C++ on Linux OS (3+ years)
Hands-on experience with automotive or robotic sensor technology (e.g., cameras, radar)
Knowledge of FMEA, FTA, DRBFM, and root-cause investigation processes
Proven ability to design software architectures and contribute to robust system design
Excellent project management, prioritization, and organizational skills
Clear and engaging communicator, skilled at presenting technical content to diverse audiences
Experience building business cases for new, innovative technologies
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
Direct experience with ADS technologies and frameworks
Expertise in deriving specifications for automotive camera systems, HMI design, or LVDS communications
Hands-on validation skills, including vehicle-based data acquisition and test system design
