Responsibilities
Water Extraction: Removing standing water from properties using pumps, wet vacuums, and other equipment
Drying & Dehumidification: Setup and operate drying and dehumidification equipment to prevent further water damage
Clean-Up & Debris Removal: Remove damaged materials (such as carpets, drywall, insulation, and furniture) and clear debris from affected areas
Equipment Handling: Set up and operate water restoration tools and equipment under supervision, ensuring they are used safely and effectively
Mold Remediation: Perform necessary cleanup and remediation to prevent further spread
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with homeowners or business owners
Qualification
Required
High School or Equivalent education
IICRC- WRT, ANSI, AMRT or related, etc
Must have a good driving record, valid license
Pass Background Check & Drug Test
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy materials, bending, and standing for long periods
Ability to Work in Various Environments: Comfortable working in potentially hazardous environments (e.g., flooded areas, areas with mold, etc.) while following safety procedures
Reliable and Dependable: Punctual, responsible, and dedicated to completing tasks accurately and efficiently
Safety-Conscious: Knowledge of safety protocols and the importance of using personal protective equipment (PPE)
Preferred
Previous Experience (Preferred): Experience in general labor, construction, or similar fields is helpful but not required
Knowledge and experience with Xactimate, estimate writing will be strongly considered
Travel: Local travel to job sites is required. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred
