Responsibilities
Establishing a firm grasp of Portfolio Strategy, Location Strategy, Transaction Management, Lease Administration and Accounting, Capital Planning, Construction Project Management and other Portfolio Management focused technology solution capabilities factoring in direct Occupier customer needs while aligning to other preferred technologies in the Newmark OST technology stack
Designing the functional and technical solutions that allow Newmark OS service teams to attract, enable and optimize client service solutions and delivery within timely and cost-effective format
Performing system, data and process modelling, as well as analysis and planning to design OST solutions that meets the business needs, including financial guidelines and estimates
Producing a comprehensive global product functional solution stack and roadmap that presents and effectively communicates the solution and how it meets the service line and client requirements through an iterative process
Maintaining the product technology roadmap in coordination with primary technology vendors and developers (including integration & business intelligence teams) key service line stakeholders, technology leadership, solution, delivery and support teams
Consulting and recommending strategic solutions to the business, other technology platform leads and customers
Actively helping to develop, train and promote a product management discipline to accelerate demand, ensure consistency, and increase the value to both clients and Newmark service lines globally
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in MIS, CS, Finance, Business, Accounting with relative industry experience or education in Commercial Real Estate or related field
Mastery of relevant industry specific practices and functions such as Portfolio Strategy, Location Strategy, Transaction Management, Lease Administration and Accounting, Capital Planning, Construction Project Management and other Portfolio Management focused technology solution capabilities
Understanding of financial transactions, such as AP/AR and GL Financial integrations in support of rent and invoice payment processing, CAM reconciliations, taxes, depreciation, etc
Knowledge of industry global data security management and security practices and guidelines such as GDPR, SOC2 required
Technical fluency required with Microsoft Office 365, including Powerpoint, Project, Visio and SharePoint
Technical fluency required with Microsoft Power BI
Technical fluency required with Product Management Methodologies and Toolsets
Must be able to use laptop, mobile device and wireless technologies
Knowledge of Network & Telecommunications Management
Experience in providing SDLC solutions with a focus in supplier management, service requests, contact management, contract management, lease administration, and project management
Strong hands-on analytical skillset with attention to detail required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including management of executive presentations required
Ability to develop strong partnerships across a global, multi-layered organization
Preferred
Product Management and specifically ITIL and SDLC experience is preferred as well
Comfortable in an executive presentation setting, internally and to customers
Able to articulate a competitive product vision and roadmap to a non-technical audience including clients
Marketing, thought leadership
Demonstration of capabilities to internal and customer users
