HII's Mission Technologies division is seeking a skilled Test Team Quality Engineer to manage test teams and drive continuous improvement in quality activities. The ideal candidate will execute test plans, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality issues.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the quality activities of four test teams who also participate in fly-away assignments

Leads the quality analysis process and provides feedback, instructions, and metrics to waterfront test teams through the Site Program managers

Manages the testing status and regularly updates Quality Manager

Directs and mitigates highly complex issues with impactful solutions for minimal business impact

Oversees and leads regular meetings to cultivate effective working relationships between cross-functional groups for the development of action plans to address quality issues

Develops plans, training, and holds virtual conferences as needed to address quality issues

Manages the quality assurance trainings and ensures trainings meet quality requirements

Required

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience

Client experience requirements: Between 6 to 15 years of relevant experience

Client education requirements: BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a relevant field; Candidate must have an undergraduate degree from an ABET accredited program

4 years of additional equivalent experience can be substituted for a BA/BS degree

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance

Experience with test planning and execution

Experience in root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action and ensuring that corrective measures meet acceptable standards and documentation is compliant with requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude
