Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of high-voltage power conversion systems within Peak’s energy storage platform—including DC/AC inverters, bidirectional DC/DC converters and protection circuitry
Define and maintain system-level electrical requirements for power stages, gate drives, control loops, safety interfaces, and EMI/EMC performance
Select and integrate key components (e.g., IGBTs, SiC/GaN FETs, magnetics, busbars, filters) and collaborate closely with mechanical and thermal engineers to support packaging and cooling
Own system-level testing and validation—both in-lab and in-field—including HV safety, transient behavior, thermal performance, and fault response
Interface with firmware, controls, and systems teams to ensure robust hardware/software integration and safe system operation
Support regulatory certification and compliance activities (e.g., UL 1741, IEEE 1547, IEC 62109)
Act as a technical leader and mentor across the ESS team—setting high standards, reviewing designs, and driving toward first-principles, scalable solutions
